Echo

I want to echo a post I wrote a couple months ago called Shift.  Only, I want this echo to be louder than the original post.  Maybe I should type in all caps?

I am more convicted than ever that we need to lay many of our methods to rest for a season of quietness.
Many of them have lost their meaning.  
If God is not currently anointing a tradition and speaking through it, it needs to stop. 

It's a waste of time. 

We need to take a good hard look at our sermons, music, old traditions as well as current creative elements. 

It might even look like doing a Matt Redman and taking a collective breather in our gathering to listen for God to speak. 

"Away with the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps."  Amos 5:23

I am feeling like that is relevant for Adventists now.  Not because we are bad, and not speaking of just music, but because we need to lean in and listen for God more than ever.

I'm not sure where this came from or why it came to me.

But there it is.
